Refund policy

At Santosh traders, we aim to provide quality products and a smooth shopping experience.

1. Return Period

Customers may request a return within 7 days of delivery of the product.

2. Return Eligibility

A product may be eligible for return if it is:

Damaged or defective
Incorrect product received
Significantly different from the product ordered
Received with missing parts or accessories

Products should generally be unused, undamaged and in their original packaging, with tags, accessories and other included items where applicable.

3. Return Request

Customers should contact us through the customer-support details provided on our website and provide:

Order number
Reason for return
Photos/videos of the product, where required
Relevant delivery or package details

4. Return Shipping

If the return is due to a wrong, damaged or defective product, return shipping arrangements may be provided or reimbursed as applicable.

For other eligible returns, applicable return shipping charges may be deducted from the refund where permitted.

5. Refunds

Once the returned product is received and inspected, an approved refund will be processed.

Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the order. The time taken for the refund to appear may depend on the payment provider or bank.

6. Order Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation before an order is dispatched. Once dispatched, cancellation may not always be possible and the applicable return process may need to be followed.

7. Damaged or Tampered Package

If a package appears damaged or tampered with at delivery, customers are advised to document the condition and contact us as soon as possible.

8. Non-Returnable Situations

A return may not be accepted where:

The product has been used or damaged by the customer
Original packaging, tags or accessories are missing where required
The return request is made after the applicable return period
The product has been altered or misused
The return appears fraudulent or abusive

9. Exchange

Exchange requests may be considered for eligible products, subject to availability and applicable conditions.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict any consumer rights available under applicable Indian law. The Department of Consumer Affairs publishes the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and its current website also lists the 2026 amendment rules.
